pm-skills: 69 PM frameworks your AI agent can actually run

phuryn/pm-skills is a 26k-star Claude Code plugin marketplace that encodes 69 product management frameworks into nine installable plugins. Think Opportunity Solution Trees, Product Strategy Canvas, PRDs, A/B test analysis — not as copy-paste prompts you have to manually maintain, but as slash commands your agent runs on demand. MIT-licensed, built by Pawel Huryn.
What it actually covers
The nine plugins map onto the PM lifecycle. pm-product-discovery does Teresa Torres-style assumption mapping, experiment design, and Opportunity Solution Trees via /discover. pm-product-strategy runs Porter's Five Forces and a Product Strategy Canvas via /strategy. pm-execution handles PRDs, OKRs, sprint planning, and pre-mortems via /write-prd.
There's also pm-ai-shipping, which audits AI-built code before it ships — a static security check and a pre-ship review layer running on top of whatever your agent just wrote. That one is doing something a bit different from the rest.
For teams, the strongest argument is consistency: install once, and every PM on the team calls the same /write-prd with the same scaffolding, instead of everyone maintaining their own sprawling prompt collection.
The caveats
Slash commands are Claude-only. On Codex, the commands install but silently do nothing — you describe the workflow in plain language instead. On Cursor, Gemini CLI, and Kiro you get the underlying skills but not the /command wrappers. The README is upfront about this, which is refreshing.
The counts are fuzzy: the GitHub About line says "100+ skills," while the README says 69 skills and 42 chained workflows across 9 plugins. Neither is wrong exactly, but set your expectations before installing.
Also: don't cherry-pick individual skills out of a plugin. The workflows chain across several skills in a bundle, so grabbing just the PRD skill while skipping the rest of pm-execution will break chains mid-run. Install the full plugin or skip it.
